Ive always enjoyed Johnny's original Ring of Fire, but this stole my heart. I can see the fire here, engulfing Ray, whose entire spectrum of music is saturated with depth and feeling.Since seeing this, Ray's been on my shoulder like a blue bird, singing this song, making my days better. Thank you Ray.And yes, city love aint quite like country style. Amen brother.

i loved what he did with this song. it's like making love. at the very beginning, you think it's an up beat song, you know, getting right to business, then it slows down, that foreplay, then it speeds up a little, only to bring you back down again, then it teases you with the up beat again, and at the end when he's whispering, that's whispering sweet nothings in your ear. go 'head ray. |
