Skinks

http://www.WildlifeTheater.com... one side of our yard we have a tall retaining wall made of railroad ties. This is evidently a great habitat for skinks (five-lined skinks, I believe) because we have several that live in the railroad ties. Often they'll chase each other around the wall and sometimes get in fights that end with one skink either being thrown off the wall or jumping off on his own. During mating season, the males' heads turn bright orange. You can find more videos like this on www.WildlifeTheater.com

i agree with you, i think if you want a reptile as a pet, buy one, theyre captive breed (usually) and hopefully disease free, plus your not snagging a poor little guy from the forest.

i think that would be cruel. he doesnt need to capture one and keep it. he has the luxurey of not having to take care of one or buying one but to see them in a good number in theier habitat. it would be cruel to take one away from that.

u should catch one and keep it

Thanks Cryosaur (sorry this is 4 months late.) I wouldn't call myself a professional videographer, but I have been doing it for a long time and have a good camera. Shooting nature video mainly just takes lots and lots of patience.

I disable embed codes on all my videos because I've found too many websites that try to pass off other people's videos as their own content then profit from it by selling advertising space on their sites.

why did you disable embed codes? i wanted to post this in a bulletin on myspace to enlighten my friends on the joys of five-lined skinks!

You're a professional videographer, aren't you? The footage was perfect.
