sniff....this sure brings back memories...I loved digimon... I have just seen the american dub (blerrgh)what an awful opening! The song is just a pain for my ears...I`m so glad when I was a kid I watched the spanish version. Though the japanese is waaaaaaaay better.-love you for updating this!Would have loved you more if you had kept on uploading the other episodes!you are awarded a cookie! and a strawberry cake!

really?!..cuz asian language actually has different way of talking to elders/strangers and people with the same age/friends!!...it's kind of like the same in spanish..

I love the english version. Obviously it is not perfect... but I've watched it at least 5 times, and I still adore it. The cheesy lines add so much character but I think probably too much character. This will be my first time watching the Japanese version... I want to see how badly they warped my beloved Mimi.

I watched this show sometimes as a curiosity, the monster concepts were interesting, but of course the dumbed-down American version was frustrating to watch due to the inane scripting. In the orignal translation it actually makes more sense. BTW I'm a 45-year-old guy that isn't ashamed to admit he finds some entertainment value in these animes supposedly for kids, but I still like for their artistic merits. |
