It has this mood of mystery all over it. I love it.

For everyone who loves this tune, you'll like Mt. Zion, Joshua Redman's take on this, in the 95 recording Live at the Village Vanguard. I love soloing over these wide open beautiful chords because you can get so expressive.

But he doesn't play like this anymore. Ok, he's progressing (Joni Mitchell junk). Or is he regressing? Still a great composer, pianist, everything.

Perhaps the best composition ever penned and ever recorded. I can remember the day I bought the Blue Note LP. It had just been released and I had to go to the shop's distributor to pick it up. My God, this album changed the way I looked at jazz.
