I'm glad Obama is addressing this. It's disgusting these greedy people get so much money from screwing their own workers. Most of them should be in prison!

Market down more than 700 points? Republican Congress Members more worried about their "hurt feelings" from a speech than saving our country?Give us a break. EVERY Republican should be voted out of office in November.Greedy, slimy, self-serving turkeys.

CEO's make more than the POTUS. McCain grandstanded and claimed to suspend his campaign, which was a lie, to "fix" the situation on the hill. He made it worse. He then claimed credit for the bill being passed (before the vote) and the bill got trashed by his Republicans. I'm poor. I can't afford to lose my small pension. I don't care about Wall Street but I care about folks like me on Main Street - and so does Senator Obama.

If you were thinking of voting for John McCain, please take a few moments and google 'Keating Five' McCain and Phill Graham have been pushing de-reulation of Wall Street for years... And now look at where that has gotten us.

It's a shame that so much of our country's problems are laid at President Bush's feet. IMO, much of what the nation has experienced over the last 8 years is due to the collapse of the moral fabric of society in general. Yes, there are some things that I blame him for, such as out of control spending and not articulating well enough why it is imperative that we succeed in the middle east, however I feel that his world vision is going to be vendicated by history. He might not be so dumb after all.

So the corporations shouldn't be allowed to decide how they use THEIR money? Ridiculous.
