The whole scheme was ugly as hell. It supplanted beauty, subtlety, ingenuity--all of which are of human dimension-- with enormity pure and simple. It is the architecture of totalitarianism. Thank God it was never built--just a public toilet over by the Brandenburger Tor.

Hice el nexo con la arquitectura clásica por que parecías no entender el concepto de neoclásico.no entiendo a que viene a cuento hablar de los orígenes de la arquitectura clásica

La arquitectura neoclásica se inspira en la arquitectura greco-latina y como corriente artística muere a mediados del siglo XIX. Speer hizo (o disenó) una arquitectura colosal e imponente, como sus palabras, pero no original ni creativa. No se puede decir que el abrió nuevos caminos ni que haya mejorado nada.

Mijo...¿que entiende usted por arquitectura neoclásica?No se trata de copiar, sino de MEJORAR lo que ya fue creado, en ese sentido Albert Speer puede ser considerado un genio, ya que renovando lo viejo iba a llegar a una arquitectura colosal e imponente.Y no, el naismo no tiene nada que ver a la hora de hablar de arquitectura.
