What are you talking about? I have the EOS 40D. It is my first DSLR and I am very pleased with it. Besides the 40D is much better than this.

it would be unlikley if if u have a d40x due to is up to date autofocus and other fetures but othere cameras yes

Yes, but depending on their age there may be restrictions like basic focusing and metering. Also due to the smaller size of the DSLR sensor, their effective focal length will be mutliplied - by 1.5 times in the case of Nikon's DX format DSLRs. See the lens guide at cameralabs . com for full details.

i have a question, do modern digital slr's work if you use a lense from an old film slr?
taekwondodrum (June 10, 2008 at 5:50 pm)
but with 10 mp you'll get more detales in for example macro or landscape pictures, or?

Im not sure where you're seeing it, but the D40x was cheaper than the D80 when it came out. But it's now been replaced by the D60, so you should be comparing the D40, D60 and D80 now...
carnival66 (May 29, 2008 at 12:00 pm)
why is it so expensive, more than the d40, you can buy a d80 with that money
BloodGTRproductions (May 14, 2008 at 4:24 am)
maybe i will use it in my university days
