Have always loved this song, always brought peace to my soul. However it took a whole new meaning to me just 3 months ago when my wife of 22 years passed away unexpectedly at the age of only 43.This song gives me a peace and serenity knowing that she is indeed resting and not in pain any more.Plus the angels are rejoicing to have her among them in their choir. Rest well you have more than earned it Christine ..when God calls me I will join you,I look forward to that day. All my love always

You're right. However, he added one more verse and released it after the death of his brother. It can be found on the When Love Finds You album.A fabulous song. As a funeral director I have had this song requested SO many times. And it always, always brings tears to the audience.
