You did a remarkable job on the lip synch. It's really a touching video. It's very good but to be honest, an artist isn't supposed to have to explain their work. If not for your description, no one viewing this would know it's about what you say. Nowhere did the bird look "distraught" until compared to the final few clips. Nowhere did we get the idea he was supposed to be a cartoon bird in "real life" that felt abandoned by his creator until the end, which was only clear because you said so.
