Oh. The "eating stranger and stranger things" bit was a general example of feelings of disgust seeming to become less sensitive over time...Now that you mention it, though, I could go for some poached Snail flambe in a white whine sauce. And leeks.

I stand corrected, go ahead and eat those snails raw. The ones above. No one is stopping you. Pick them up, hold your nose (or not) down the hatch. Burp. Ahh, tasty. Just kidding. It's gross though.

I find it hilarious on many levels, as well as mildly beautiful. I wasn't aware that the sense of disgust becomes more sensitive with age. Heck, the older people get, the more willing they tend to be to eat stranger and stranger things.That is all.
