yeah goldenfarmer, you are exactly right. that's why max roach went from being on of the most, if not, the most influential jazz drummers of his time to being THE most influential (and successful)percussion arranging composer to this date. that's exactly why his videos are on youtube and yours aren't. go watch a video of a cockroach eating a ball of shit.

Max Roach and Shelly Manne, the only drummers who played really intelligent solo's. Max's solo drumming is almost geometric, particularly behind Bird on his 1953 sessions for Verve.
