you have to know that the universe is expanding. And light is the fastest medium with 300.000 km/s (yes per Second!). However the universe is expanding faster than light. There are some theories about particles called "Tachyon" which are probably able to travel in hyperspace (faster than light). Thus the universe expands itself and creates new space by its expansion througout the nothingness which surrounds the universe. Yep hard to understand but I tried to explain.^^

The concept of infinity is hard to grasp even by the geatest minds. ie: the big bang started from a volumless point infinitly hot and dense. mathematically we know what infinity is but we cannot completely understand it because it is beyond our experience.

I didn't mention anything in the video. It is the swami that is doing the mentioning.The point was to do a little research on the physical properties of the universe, it's origin and eventual fate.An infinite and unchanging universe is called the steady state theory, which has been abandoned for the much better and logically accepted Big Bang. Afterwards possibly the big crunch or big rip.
