Chet's great, but how I dislike that boring tone from that classical for this kind of thing. Play it through your country gentleman, Chet, the tone would be so great for such a tune.

Wow, what a trip. The very first fingerstyle song that I learned 26 years ago, was Windy and Warm. Of course Chet looks and of course sounds a heck of lot better playing it than I did. He's such a major guitar influence. Such a solid player and one of the best. Thanks Chet. Peace.

Cool how he takes a slightly laid back tempo - If I'd only practiced more!

I can clearly hear a jazz style piano periodically throughout the song. The entire song has a jazzy feel to it. Very nice!

?? Chet can certainly play-Are you intimating that Chuck can act?? I think not!

Fretkillr, you are correct in your assessment...I own a Yamaha FG340 from about 1979, one of the most beautiful sounding instruments I have ever heard. Neck is warped by the previous owner's messing with the torsion rod, but it's still playable. Planning to restore it along with my father's early 1950's Gretsch soon. Lots of people have commented on how good that Yamaha sounds... |
