the pyramids were created by slaves....this is just more monuments to the rich and powerful created by overworked, waaay underpaid indian workers that can't read, can't leave the country and get excited when they get a back of rice for palau. but guess who got them to sign on the dotted line to sell years of their life away for almost nothing...?? wasnt any arab. They signed contracts that they couldnt read at agencies in India!

they should pause these projects and the trillion buildings being put up to focus on fixing the roads.....the engineer must have been drunk....i have to travel 4Km to get onto a road to take me back in the opposite direction and that seems to be common wherever i'm at. last night i went to grosvenor house and went back and forth 4 times just to get there......they need to get the roads engineered properly before they build another diamond building or gold island.

What do some of you people think? I am an Australian living in Dubai and I can see "THE WORLD" from my apartment. It's awesome. Why not spend money on infrustructure like this, it's far better than spending it on nucular testing. Dubai is a very libral place, loads of beautiful parks and buildings and full of wondeful people. Some of you need to be less narrow minded I think!

you cant just create these structures without slaves. first you need money to create these things and lots of it but it cheaper to use cheap slave labour and they work long and hard hours. wealth comes from slavery and exploitation. These labourers are not allowed to enter some of these buildings. I had friends visit dubai they said that pakistanis are not allowed to enter certain buildings such as libraries unless they show the arabs, thier british passport. |
