Freetibet or free tobed?dalailama or dolly lama? The poor Tibetans have put their faith in this man. But where will he lead them to? To let his fellow people become lawless and violent? Why does the Dalai Lama stop lying to people? when will educated westerners stop behaving like donkeys?

How is she dumb you idiot? If India is what it claims to be, "the largest democratic country in the world", then lead by its example and not the opposite: arresting and taking those peaceful protesters to jail. What else can be done? Well, a good example is how any other democratic society has done by barricading with police officers. India isn't really a democratic society and we all know that.

i am surprised. I was in new delhi during that period and demonstrations were allowed. People were just arrested, not manhandled. And Most of them were released after a couple hrs.

You are such a dumb! Peaceful protests are illegal in some high security areas of Delhi, because of various security concerns. Rest entire Delhi is open to peaceful protesters. Last year, about 30000 farmers protested in Delhi in one major protest and this year about 100000 women protested. About 2 dozen protests happen every day in Delhi. Now don't show your numbness to any one else please!

Thanks so much to Dateline Australia and Journeyman Pictures for this documentary. All I saw on tv was that the torch relay in India went peacefully without any protests. Now I know the truth: that India, like China, is also a major violator of human rights. By arresting those peaceful would-be protesters, the Indian government is violating their rights to peaceful assembly, based on the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

If you talk about a police force, you are right. You need a police to be sure that individual rights are protected. If not, anarchy would prevail.Anything else for me is criminal.

From my experiences I don't agree. A nation at lease have to done something to enforce its people otherwise it's not a nation.
