if i backup my save game and i buy a new sims 2 game with new expansions and packs, can i used my saved game again?what if the old game that i bought have only nightlife and university while the new one that i bought doesn't have those expansions?please reply me.

I just bought it for $30 after buying the Holiday Stuff Pack, Bon Voyage, Free Time, then Seasons. Open for Business is, I admit, hard to play. Sometimes it's maybe boring, and I wonder if I made a mistake on buying it(it was either between the Pets or this). But I guess I will just play and find out. Hopefully it will be more exciting than it turns out (though the new carpets and wallpapers are great!)
