He makes a better version of this song in my opinion. This version is much more emotional and touching. I prefer this version.

I simply love the atmospheric value of this cover version. It echoes the style of Donnie Darko in such a simple way.

I prefer the original version.

Also, both versions have their merits. This is a very poignant rendition, and Jules deserves credit for a very touching, very emotional piece of music. However, Tears for Fears were a very underappreciated band, and I love 80s stuff, so let's just bask in good music, new and old.

Chill the fuck out dude.To tell the truth I like this version better, it sounds like it is a sad song, he did a really good job.You act like hes the only person whose ever remade a song.Look around you.I mean hell, look at Stevie Ray Vaughan, he remade 2 Hendrix songs, that doesnt mean he used it for success, he did it since he idolized Jimi. And look at bands around you past and present, they all have atleast remade one song.Just cause one guy does a remake doesnt mean its all for success.

you're an ass show some respect to tears for fears ! They wrote it and this asshole used it for his own success ! If you listen to tears for fears version its not meant to be so sad and slow its more fast and up beat !!!
