from jTV in Australia, Ben Folds' Like a Version from 2006, The Postal Service's "Such Great Heights." AND! You may or may not believe it, but The Postal Service's version IS the original. NOT Iron & Wine. Check your facts before arguing about it.Looking for the MP3? http://wokeupwaytoolate.com/fi... #70 on Triple J's Top 100 of 2006. Pretty good for a cover!Ben says that he forgot that he was supposed to be on Like a Version and "had to cover a popular song, and turned on my ipod and this was the most recently listened to song and found some drummers in the studio" (11/5/06 in Columbia, MO).... and tada, here we are. On the spot first time thing. Check how he's doing it now on other videos.

Yeah, but it didn't surprise me that he couldn't hold the notes; that particular way of singing isn't how ben would usually sing, so I don't blame him for not being able to hit the notes spot on.

Hey, the point of doing a cover in most cases is out of respect for the artist that created it in the first place. Ben clearly is doing this because of that reason. Of course, usually, the person who is doing the cover won't sing the song as well because that particular style of singing does not match his or her own. And Ben was also doing this purely out of fun! Couldn't you tell he was? He was using household items as instruments! Awesome work, Ben. You're a genius.

I think most people here are overreacting a bit. It's not the best cover, but it's not terrible. Like when the Yeah Yeah Yeahs covered Bjork's "Hyperballad". Seriously, watch that and see if you guys still think this is such a bad cover.

So many "Bens." Ben Gibbard. Ben Lee. Ben Kweller. Ben Folds. Must be a good name for music.

the music is awesome, its cool how they recreated everything. however, his vocals werent that good, he was really flat for most of the song

I usally like Ben Folds music. I dont know what is wrong here but ben cant carry the vocals right. Its cool that they are using all that ordinary stuff as instruments.

Iron and Wine's version was great, and this is OK. But, still, no one can ever beat Postal Service.
