my son kayden is 7 years old he has had one his whole life we have accidentally pulled it out many times over the years and he does not seam to mind it all that much although his sight has always been realy nice looking. he has trisomy 18 a rare disorder that we are told that these kids wont live and he would not know us he is nothing like that he is happy full of life you can find him if you enter in your you tube search trisomy 18 kayden. feel free to come see his smiling face

My son has one. He's 20 months, and I've changed his a few times. His father has yet to change one, he's still scared to do it. By the way your baby is so cute :)

i had one of them i am 19 and i just got mine out like a month before my birthday i hated changing it omg it still makes me fill weird just thinking about it. . . . ur baby is so so so so cute ! ! ! !

I wish I had seen this months ago when my daughter got her mic-key. 4 days after she got it, it popped out and I called the nurse in a panic. LOL Looking back, I can't believe I reacted like that. They did show us how to change it...I guess it caught me off guard. I change it all the time now and it's no big deal.

hey, if you put water soluble jelly on the new tube before you slide it in, it should go in easier.

well the peg has a plastic disk or something, right? The mic-key's not that bad. And I only have to change it once every three months unless it breaks.
