Addams Family (1964-1966) was previous to Batman (1966-1968). Madge Blake was in the first Addams Family episode. And Vito Scotti (who here plays Maty Dee) was a recurring actor in 4 or 5 Addams Eps.

Penguin is the best villian....so true, so true. I love his voice! And the cigar and top hat he's always got really adds to his character.

Back then, it was not uncommon for a popular show to introduce a new show this way. Not sure if that was the case here, though. But it was still fun to see. (It's also fun to hear Adam West's voice on "Family Guy" sometimes. Agree?)

Dude, that was fuckin nuts. I heard the toon and was like "wtf, isn't this toon copywrited by Adams Family?" Then Lurch comes onto the scene and I almost pissed myself laughing.Rock On!!!-John
