Holding a hummingbird feeder
As the summer draws to a close, the hummingbirds are filling up on nectar. Here, I try holding a feeder. Within moments, nearly a dozen of them ambush me, landing on my fingers to feed. At one point, two hummers stuck their beaks into my ear canal and lapped my eardrum! I kid you not.

Yes! The Ruby Throated can be found all the way up the east coast. And, the more feeders you put out, the more hummers you'll see...

thats awesome i live in new jersey do you think if i put up a feeder they would come here? ive only seen like 5 humming birds in my life here in jersey but ive never put up a feeder before. |
